Apple iPhone Skype HackedIf you’re looking to get Skype on your Apple iPhone, you’re one step closer.

There’s a workaround that was published by TMC Labs Chief Technical Officer, Tom Keating in his blog.

You’ll need a broadband-connected PC, some programs, an iPhone and some tech know-how. If you’re a tech weenie, it might be best to either find someone with some tech prowess or sit this one out.

This workaround to put Skype on the iPhone will require the Opera browser to be installed on the iPhone and SoonR Talk on your PC.

Basically, the iPhone becomes a remote control for the PC.

“Once you are logged in and connected, you can view your buddies using the Ajax client,” Keating said.

Before you get all excited and rush out to do this, there is one important caveat.

According to Keating, this Skype-iPhone workaround will use two Skype credits to set up a conference call.

Is this better than using AT&T? You decide.

Skype does have an unlimited calling plan for the U.S. and Canada. It’s $29.95 per year.
