SanDisk Releases Sansa Express MP3 Player

Sansa Express Mp3 Player Sandisk released the USB connecting 1 GB mp3 player, which is easy to connect and free of annoying cables. It contains an FM tuner, microSD card slot (which expands the storage amount to 3 GB if you use a 2 GB card), microphone, and an 15 hour battery life. It will be available in March 2007 for roughly $59.99.

G-Tech Launches Bluetooth Bags

G-Tech has announced the the Bluetooth Bags will soon be released this month. G-Tech made a hit when it first made the iPod Messenger Bags, so it decided to take it one further and produce the Bluetooth Bag which works for cell phone or iPod. The bag allows for safe storage of the devices while being controlled with a touchpad on the strap.

G-Tech also offers speakers which allow music to be played from a cell phone or notebook which has proven to be quite a popular feature. Interestingly the touchpad is made from a unique five-layer laminate of electrically conductive materials which transforms it into an touchpad

SanDisk Introduces The Sansa View

Sansa ViewSanDisk was not done. It also released the Sansa View a simple but sleek looking video player. It contains a nice 4-inch display screen, 8 GB of flash memory (good for 33 hours of video or 2000 songs), and produces a DVD-like video experience.

Added to that the microSD slots allow for even more storage room. It will be available in the first quarter of 2007 in the US and in the second quarter for Canada and Europe. It will market for roughly $299.

iLuv Demonstrates BluePin Technology

iLuvdisplayed their patent pending BluePin technology which is based on Bluetooth technology but is aimed at enhancing the “shared entertainment” experience. The technology is roughly the size of a quarter and allows any device that has Bluetooth to share audio files with a BluePin stereo system, headphones or speakers.

BluePin has enabled devices such as the iLuv i277 Alarm Clock, the iPod, and the Samsung Yepp T9 and K3.

Those were some of the literally hundreds of juicy tidbits flying out there at CES today.
