Many people enjoy playing video games. Some are very serious about this hobby than others. I know I hate it when you have things that distract you visually or take away from a game when you are playing it.
Lots of gamers would love to be “in” the game. Virtual reality is not new but if you want to have a truly immersive experience with your game or movie then you need to get a 3D Visor.
The Z800 3D Visor from eMagin is the one we’ll be looking into today.
eMagin displayed this 3D Visor at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show and even won a Best of Innovations award in Digital Displays and Electronic Gaming.
The 3D Visor easily straps over your head and immerses you in a high-color, high contrast picture that’s equivalent to viewing 105″ at twelve feet.
The Z800 3D Visor allows you to view the full 360 degrees of the virtual world, making it even more immersive.

The visor also contains its own integrated audio system with earbuds and a microphone completing the effect.
You don’t need any special technology to use the Z800 3D Visor. You simply plug it into your computer’s USB port and you’re set.
The Visor uses OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology. This is technology allows light to be produced when current flows through the device. Because it requires little power, it can be easily plugged into your USB port.
Unfortunately, you will have to dig into your pockets to get one of these babies. The Z800 3d Visor costs $899. I’m sure that the serious gamers would find the cash to buy one of these.
It definitely adds to the gaming experience.
