This is a video of Vista’s voice recognition technology that went a little crazy. It’s pretty funny actually. The live demo had one of the presenters say “write dear mom comma” and the software produced “dear aunt,” instead.
It then had the presenter try different commands to delete what the software had written but finally spewed this message: “dear aunt, let’s set so double the killer delete select all.” The software seemed to have trouble discerning whether the command should be written or acted upon.’
However, Microsoft did state (as you saw in the film) that it was background noise even though I would have to agree that it sounded quiet to me.

1Kinda sad that they’re having problems that bad, this late in the development. Hope they get it right soon!
