Toshiba has released the Portégé M400-S4032 tablet personal computer. The Tablet PC comes with built in “high-speed Evolution Data Optimized (EV-DO) technology for Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess1 service”.
However, the Portege M400-S4032 also can connect via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Gigabyte Ethernet. The wireless technology is aimed at those who need to continue using data and working while not in a fixed location.
The Portege M400-S4032 also comes with EasyGuard. Toshiba has added these series of software and hardware add-ons to make connecting wirelessly better and more secure. Another wireless feature is the ConfigFree feature which allows one to seamlessly switch between different wireless networks.
The Tablet PC uses a 1.83 Ghz Intel Core Duo Processor. The computer uses Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005 as its operating system.
Toshiba’s Portege M400-S4032 comes equipped with 1GB of RAM and 12.1-inch screen. It also uses an embedded graphics chipset (8MB-128MB) and a 100GB hard drive. The battery life of the Portege M400-S4032’s Lithium-ion battery is 5.12 hours.
