Sony has a GPS Navigation system that can easily be placed in your car so that finding where to go is made easier. GPS navigation systems are becoming more popular, especially in luxury cars. Many companies have manufactured systems so that all can have these installed in our cars.

The system contains a GPS receiver that communicates with satellites to keep your map updated as you move.

The GPS mapping tool brings up a simple user interface with large icons. For example, you are able to select “Home” or “Recent Destinations” and have the results displayed.

The screen itself is a touch screen monitor which allows you to simply press the screen to make a selection. It also has protections so that your fingerprints don’t cause any damage to the gadget. The NV-U70 system’s display screen is 3.5 inches wide and has an 80 degree viewing angle.

Sony’s GPS system also comes pre-built with two front facing speakers that allow for clear sound to be projected as the device gives the driver audio directions. Also attached on the top of the gadget is a button which allows the last audio command to be played back in case you forget.

The GPS system has all 48 states except for Alaska and Hawaii pre-installed. However, if you are in those areas you need to hook the gadget up to a computer to get the maps.

The gadget also comes with an automatic auto dimmer. It is able to tell how much light is shining on the NV-U70 GPS system and adjust the dimness so you can view the maps properly.

The NV-U70 GPS system also has over 1.6 million Points of Interests built into its maps. This helps you to quickly find important locations such as gas stations, restaurants, stores, parks, theaters, airports and so on.

The gadgets weigh only 11 ounces and are 104.7 x 87.5 x 42.9 mm in dimension. For the cost of $599.99 you can add a GPS tracking system to your car.
