Sony’s newest Cyber-shot digital camera is hoping to allow users to take photos that display less blur with the release of the 7.2 megapixel T30.
The gadget’s aim is to make it easier for the average (yet intelligent) person to take sharp images without having to waste the time to learn how to take shots that don’t blur. Hmm, I think some photographers might not be too happy.
The DSC-T30 features double anti-blur protection. By pressing the Super Steady Shot® image stabilization and high-sensitivity mode the image you take is will be sharper even in low lighting.
The Super Steady Shot technology combines shooting at a faster shutter speed with sight sensitivity and noise reduction technology so that the picture doesn’t contain blur or noise that often occurs when the shutter speed is increased.
The DSC-T30 comes with a 3-inch LCD screen on which to view your images and even play them in a slideshow mode. The camera also features a 3x optical zoom. Along with that Sony’s DSC-T30 also has different color modes: natural mode for more subtle colors, and vivid mode for brighter and more intense colors.
The camera comes with 58MB of image storage. It does, however, contain a Memory Stick Duoâ„¢ media card slot which you can buy and insert (up to a maximum of 2GB).
And what about the battery life? The camera can sustain 420 image shots before shutting down. And when it does you can simply recharge the Lithium battery.
The DSC-T30 will be available next month for the price of $500. The camera has above average image quality, and average optical zoom. Its advanced features may prove excellent for the amateur or the guy with shaky hands. The camera’s expandabilitly also allows you to carry all your photos on one card and simply transfer them to your PC.
