Sony DSC-T50 and DSC-N2

Sony has released to new digital cameras, the DSC-T50 (left) and the DSC-N2(right). Both cameras feature a very large 3-inch touch screen on the back. This allows for less buttons to be used and contributes to a more sleek look.

The displays use Sony’s Clear Photo Plus LCD technology for higher resolution. The cameras also have the capability to create a photo slideshow viewed on the display. You can add music, and even create transition effects between images.

Both cameras have fast response time and have shutter lag that only last milliseconds, which not only means you get the shot faster, but it also helps to lengthen the life of your battery.

Sony’s DSC-T50 Digital Camera

The T50 is at the top of the T-line of Sony’s digital cameras. It is a 7-megapixel camera which ensures that you are going to get quality when you take a picture. It also uses a 3x optical zoom. It also contains 56 MB of internal memory on which to store images. You can also buy an optional 4 GB Memory Stick Duo (or Pro Duo) flash card which you can slide into the camera and store 1,100 high-res images.

Sony’s DSC-T50 camera comes with Super SteadyShot image stabilization. This reduces blur caused from shaky hands (that’s usually me). On a full battery, the T50 can take up to 400 shots

The DSC-T50 comes in red, black, and silver colors. It will be available in October for roughly $500 (US).

Sony’s DSC-N2 Digital Camera

This camera comes in a beautiful champagne color and comes with a very sleek and curved look that I like. This is a ten megapixel camera which means more photo quality. The camera also has a photo-album function which allows you to add 500 photos in that album for you to share with your friends and family.

It too has a 3x optical zoom feature and comes with 25 MB of internal memory, which is almost half the memory of T50, but you do also have the option of buying a flash card that we mentioned about earlier to expand the storage capacity.

Both cameras also have a higher light sensitivity so that when you are taking images at a higher shutter speed you don’t have all that blur. This of course comes in handy when you are taking shots of moving subjects or taking an image in low-light.

Sony’s DSC-N2 will be available in October and cost roughly $450 (US).
