Samsung X60 Notebook



Samsung has displayed their newest notebook, the X60, at CeBIT 2006. It combines portability, design , multimedia and wireless connectivity.

Samsung’s X60 is the ideal notebook for business and home users. It features a dual core processing CPU, 3D graphics, and a wide angle LCD screen. The dual core Intel chip allows for faster and sharper performance and quicker response time.

The rechargable battery can last for up to 6 hours in the X60.

The X60 notebook comes with AVS Now (Instant Media Player). A simple and easy-to-use multimedia interface with access via mouse, button, keyboard, or remote controller that enable you to watch videos, look at photos and listen to music.

The notebook features twin array microphones which allow for quality sound but filter out unwanted noise. That’s a good feature if you are looking to chat vocally over a messenger or make telephone calls over the Internet.

A DVD/RW dual layer drive also comes with the Samsung X60 that allows one to create and watch DVDs all on the notebook itself.

The Samsung X60 weighs 2.4kg and is only 23.9mm in thickness. The X60 is the first notebook to have a PCI-express Gigabit Local Area Network (LAN) solution which ensures that a stable network ensues without the need of a PCI device.

The laptop is also Bluetooth enabled. The X60 notebook can connect to a variety of devices from a mouse to cell phones.
