Samsung has releases its first HSDPA handset by releasing the SCH-Z560 mobile phone. HSDPA technology is rather new and allows for data transfer rates that are up to 7 times what they are now. That higher rate of speed allows user to watch larger multimedia files for example like watching videos at a DVD level on your phone.

The technology also allows for multimedia games all due to a high speed internet connection that is equal to one that is cabled (not wireless).

The Z560 has a data transfer rate of 1.8 megabits per second (Mb). The phone is very sleek looking and is only 16mm thick. So thumbs up on the design. It’s got a 2 megapixel camera, which is average so you should decently clear images from the phone.

The phone itself comes with 30 MB of storage but you can always add memory by purchasing and using microSD memory. The Z560’s display is good at 2.3-inches.

Samsung’s Z560 also has video recording and streaming abilites on top of the digital camera so you can capture moments in moving picture. It wieghs only 93 grams.

The Z560 has currently been launched in France and Germany but it will soon be released into other European countries.
