Retrevo.com is a website that acts as a search engine that solely focuses on gadgets. With a simple search it allows for a good amount of various information on a gadget. This could be useful for looking up specs, or reading reviews before going out and getting that gadget of your dreams.

The search can be very generic (say you are looking for a cell phone) or very specific (for example the Apple iPod). I did a simple search for the XBOX 360 and Retrevo game me manufacturer information, reviews, dicussions in forums and blogs, daily deals (regularly updated), and online stores which I could purchase. They even have PDF files embedded in the results for your viewing pleasure.

Now all this information is great but Retrevo also allows you to filter out results so that you can focus on one (eg. Daily Deals). Clicking on a category or hitting more will give all the results under that category.

The search engine seems up to date as it gave good results for recent gadgets like the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 and the like. It is refreshing to see new search engines, like Retrevo, that are popping up that are more segment oriented.
