RCA Releases 3 Portable DVD Players

Wow, RCA really seems to like the number three. On the same day they released three new music players, they also turned around and showered us with portable DVD players. DVD players are great when you or the family is on the go but want to watch something on the way.
The three players releases are DRC629N, DRC630N, and the DRC627N.
RCA DRC629N and DRC630N Players
These first two portable DVD players are the first two of the three you see above. Both of these players have dual screens (that’s right two screens on each player). Each screen measures 7-inches and can having two screens allows two children to view content at the same time while sitting in a different seat.
A simple cable connected to the second screen connects the video being shown. Added two that the players both have two headphone jacks that allow for easy and convenient listening.
The set up of these players is simple for use by smaller children. The two screens also can be securely fixed to the headrests of a car so that those in the front are not disturbed.
These players play DVDs, CDs, JPEG, and mp3 files. A USB connection is used to display music or JPEG files from a music player or flash drives onto the displays of the DRC629N and DRC630N.
RCA’s portable DVD players come with a TV Guardian feature (you need to activate it on their website) that mutes swear words on films so that younger children are not exposed to the expletives. The players also come with 30 video games.
Both players cost roughly $299.
The RCA DRC627N Portable Player
The DRC627N portable DVD player also has a 7-inch screen that can adjust it’s vertical angle. This player was designed for young children who love to play video games. It is the third image of the three presented at the top.
The player comes packed with 30 games, and 15 of those games are targeted towards 4 to 6 year-olds, while the other 15 are more for a 6-10 year old to play with.
The player obviously plays DVDs as well. RCA’s DRC627N player is built to be tough with a strong plastic casing, a protective screen coating, and a resistance to high temperature.
This model features a 2.5 hour lithium-ion battery, and also has the TV Guardian language control.
The player costs $149.
