RCA released 3 models of it’s slim new hard drive line of music players. The three models as pictured above in order are the H100 (4 GB storage capacity) and the H106 and H116 (6 GB storage capacity).

Each player can store more than 130 hours of entertainment. The H106 and H116 come with an FM transmitter which allows music from the player to be listened through the car’s audio system. I found that to be a pretty neat feature.

The players are remarkably light weighing only 2.7 ounces (or 76.5 grams). The size of the players is also pretty small. RCA claims that they can hide behind business cards. RCA’s H line have players with 1.5-inch displays.

These players roughly have a 16 hour battery life and can be recharged with a USB connection (the USB connection is also used to transfer files from the computer to the player).

While the players are good, I feel this market it just too far ahead of these RCA players. They are great for those who are just getting into digital music, but there are other players out there that can do more than just play music.

However, for the storage capacities RCA is selling them at (4GB or 6GB) these players are a steal at the price they are selling them at.
