Well, as promised, we have waited to see if Microsoft would release any more information about its new gadget. If you aren’t aware of what is being discussed see our earlier post on Microsoft’s next gadget codenamed “Project Origami”.
We did see an update on the site: origamiproject.com.
This is what it stated in another short video under the “Week 2″ link:
The teaser begins with a circle that says “touch me”. Once you do these messages appear with images and location of where the new gadget could go or be.
hi there.
wondering where to find me?
i am here.
and here.
way up here.
and down here.
even here.
everywhere you are.
but never in the way.
who am I?
find out on 3.9.06.
Cnet.com is reporting that Microsoft will likely release full information about the gadget at the CeBit trade show on that is taking place on March 9th-15th.
However, thanks to ZDnet.com it was revealed that Project Origami is no longer a secret.
If you look at the source code (go to the site and click View>Source Code) of the page this message is revealed:

I doubt this was a mistake or a leak. I believe that was purposely put out by Microsoft. So, it seems almost official that this tablet PC will be carrying Windows XP, and be able to do, at the minimum, the rudimentary things a PC does. It is also rumored that it may be able to connect wirelessly to the Internet as well and incorperate multimedia features onto the PC as well.
