If you are the proud owner of an older operating system such as Windows 98, Windows 98 Special Edition or Windows Mellenium Edition , Microsoft is now informing those ones that support for such operating systems will no longer continue.
Microsoft had been giving out patches and updates to these older Windows operating system but has now announced that effective July 11, 2006 it will no long support the above mentioned operating systems.

1Just like Harley Davidson not supporting their motorcycles prior to 1986 - It just costs to much to keep parts and information archived for older inventory - In MS Windows - You would need old guys like myself to even remember how to use Windows 98 and prior.
I really miss DOS in conjunction with Sidekick, Lotus 123, Dbase III, Clipper, Reflex,Superkey, and Turbo Pascal! - Wow am I old or what? (1987)
