iFrogz Tadpole Let’s Kids Play Safe With That iPod
Well, while checking my mail a couple of days ago I unexpectedly found a package from iFrogz with the Tadpole pictured above. Gazotto reviewed the iPod covers from iFrogz and personally I not only like their style but the way they protect the iPod. Lots of other protective devices make the detract from the “iPod” look, but iFrogz adds flair with thick, dust-free, silicone protection.
The Tadpole cover is aimed at children and as iTunes has content (songs and videos) aimed at children (Blues Clues for example) the iPod is a convenient way to relay that content to your child no matter where you are: doctor’s office, taking a roadtrip, or in a line at the local supermarket.
The problem is that when you hand your kid an iPod they just might not be able to hold it right or drop it which could badly damage your iPod or break it permanently.
iFrogz, however, have basically taken their iPod covers and added to solid silicone handles to them so that your child can keep a firm grip on the iPod and it also helps them to ensure that they can properly see the screen (i.e. they have more control).
The Tadpole cases come for 30 GB, the older 60 GB and the newer 80 GB iPod. They are made from silicone which is soft to the touch, but it also helps to absorb shock from and bumps or drops your child may incur on the iPod.
The dimensions of the case are: 5.5 (W) x 4.25 (H) x 0.75 -inches (thick) and it only weighs a mere 2.7 ounces. It also comes at a very reasonable price of $24.99 (US).
iFrogz has revolutionized protective devices and has created something that can be shared with your child. It protects the iPod well and adds functional handles for easy holding. Another great product from iFrogz.
