Google’s great presence in the lives of people now extends from the Internet and software into language and dictionaries. The Meriam-Webster dictionary added “Google” and it’s verb form “Googling into its dictionary.
Meriam-Webster defined Googling this way:“To use the Google search engine to obtain information about [a person or thing] on the world wide web.”
Other kind of words that were added to the dictionary was “spyware”, “ringtone”, “unibrow”, and “mouse potato” (a mouse potato is s0meone who spends too much time on the computer).
