Specifications

The DJ Ditty contains 512MB of storage space. This is roughly between 110 to 220 songs, depending on size of the music file.

That’s why someone who doesn’t need abundant space nor has a small music library should consider the DJ Ditty.

The Ditty uses a USB 2.0 connection to transfer files from your computer to the player. It also contains and integrated FM Tuner.

Look and Feel

The Ditty is very sleek with dimensions: 3.6 x 1.1 x .5 inches. It has a 1 inch LED screen.

There are several controls on the DJ Ditty that allow one to Power On, Power Off, Play, Pause, Select, Increase Volume, Decrease Volume, Fast Forward and Rewind.

Battery

DJ Ditty uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery which lasts for a maximum of 14 hours. That is only true if you meet conditions they set out on their website.

Once connected to a computer’s USB port for recharging it takes 2.5 hours to fully recharge the battery.

I kind of hate the fact that the Ditty has an embedded battery instead of changeable battery source like an AAA battery. The fact is that once the battery is dead you need to connect to a computer instead of just changing the battery.

Price

The DJ Ditty costs $99 (US) and is a very affordable option. It comes with a set of earbuds, lanyard, and black & blue USB Cap.

The DJ Ditty weighs a mere 1.2 ounces (or 40 grams) and is great for use while walking, working out, or just listening to your favorite music.
