CeBIT 2006: Voice Over IP Keyboard From A4 Tech
Well, keyboards have definitely come a long way. We discussed the virtually indestructible keyboard awhile back, but this keyboard from A4 Tech is pretty neat. It’s a multimedia package built into your keyboard.
The keyboard comes with its own integrated sound card so that there is an increased sound quality when you are having sound conversations over MSN, Yahoo Messengers, Skype and so on. And get this: the keyboard comes built in with its own digital telephone for voice over IP communication.
That means you don’t need to get a microphone, and at the same time, don’t need to sacrifice space to buy an additional digital phone. The keyboard has an ergonomic layout, 8 office keys and 5 multimedia keys.
The Voice Over IP keyboard also has ports for headsets and microphones, a speaker, and a switch that controls which function (telephone or headset) you are using.
One multimedia package bundled right into your keyboard. I only hope that the Talky Keyboard KIP-15 from A4 hasn’t sacrificed quality for space.
