Zettabyte Computers has displayed iUpload at this years CeBIT 2006 show. The universal gadget allows people to convert their CDs to mp3s and store them directly onto their iPod. That eliminates the need for you to stick the CD into the computer, have software convert it and then transfer the files to the iPod.

The iUpload is portable, and provides a hassle free conversion mechanism that converts the song from CD to iPod with no computer in between.

Features

The iUpload converts CDA to mp3, encodes mp3 instantly, uploads music to iPod via USB connection, and tags music files through an internet link. There are only 3 buttons on the iUpload, which create a simple user interface.

Zettabyte Computers says that the iUpload will be the hottest iPod accessory of 2006/2007. It claims that this gadget is the first of its kind. Though it’s not the nicest thing to look at, it does its job.

This is probably not something you’d want to get if you have a few CDs floating around, but it is great for someone who has a library full of CDs and is only now switching over to the iPod and digital music.

The iUpload will be available later on in 2006.
