This is the second of three notebooks made for those working in a commercial environment that Asus released a couple days ago. It has a large 15.4-inch widescreen display. It comes with a detachable docking station, allowing a user to connect easily to peripherals or communication devices.

The V1 notebook computer from Asus uses an Intel Duo Core processor. The clock speed of the processor range depending on the model selected. They range from 1.66 GHz – 2.16 GHz.

As for RAM they also range depending on the model selected, but you can get as much as 2 GB of RAM which allows for dedicated graphics and software to be run.

Asus’ V1 notebook also includes a 256 MB ATI Radeon graphics card for playing games. The laptop also features hard drives ranging from 80 GB to 120 GB of storage capacity on which to store files, music, games, and videos.

Wireless features have also been included with the V1 notebook. It can connect to wireless networks and Bluetooth networks. Added to that it can also connect to and Ethernet (wired network) connection.

And lastly Asus has added a fingerprint scanner, which scans the live layer of skin to determine that the user is allowed to access the computer. This is, of course, is crucial when dealing with private or confidential business matters.
