
Bono, the lead singer for U2, has created a (RED) product line (ranging from shirts to watches) and part of the proceeds from the sale of these items will go to help fight HIV and AIDS in Africa. Apple has gotten on board the (RED) line and today releases their red iPod nano.
This new iPod will become part of the newest line of iPod nanos. Apple will donate $10 from every sale of the red iPod to go directly towards combatting HIV and AIDS in Africa.
The iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition is now available everywhere comes in a 4GB storage capacity. It costs $199 (US) and has a 24 hour battery life.
