Wow, did 2006 fly by, and as usual it was filled with the good the bad and the ugly of gadgets and tech news. But first we made some predictions the year before. Yup, Gazotto predicted that 2006 was gonna be a big year for Google and Microsoft. Well we kinda went crazy calling it a war.

But in all seriousness, Google did make some big splashes landing JotSpot, YouTube and creating it’s Calendar andSpreadsheet applications.

Microsoft made it’s own moves creating Windows Live, jumping into the digital music market with the Zune, delaying Vista until early 2007, and releasing the UMPC (Project Origami).

Other big stories was the massive recalls of Sony batteries from companies like Dell and Toshiba. Gazotto also brought you some really cool stories like the HelioDisplay, the Virtually Indestructable Keyboard.

Beginning in January, Gazotto will be bringing you stories from this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, which always creates a huge buzz. We hope you continue to join us next for yet other cool tech news, and gadget reviews.
