RCA has created its own HD DVD player. Because High Definition televisions are becoming more and more popular, the high definition DVD format wars are still continuing. RCA has launched the HDV5000.
It is backwards compatible. In other words it will be able to play your current DVDs and music CDs.

Philips has been placed in charge of lighting the Reichstag in Berlin, Germany. Germany will be host to the 2006 Fifa World Cup. The Reichstag is where the German government sits. The Reigstag, pictured above, has stood in Germany for over around 112 years.
Circuit City, a popular electronics retail company has announced that its home theater forums have been attacked. When vistors visited the forum they were forwarded to a site located in Russia. Once there the site tried to install a “backdoor” on the victim’s PC.
While searching around the Net in my spare time, I came across a website that contained an interesting concept on playing music. Rebecca Potger created the product design behind Cubic Sound, and while it’s the gadget is not currently on the market, it is an interesting twist to the normal way we listen to music.

Microsoft has taken of the wraps off its newest software product: OneCare. OneCare is aimed at Windows users who are looking for an antivirus, anti-spyware program. OneCare will be in direct competition with Norton and McAffee.
